Faderco was founded with a primary focus on the production of cotton derivatives. This phase laid the foundation for the company’s growth and its commitment to quality and innovation in hygiene products.

Diversification and Expansion
During this decade, Faderco diversified its activities, launching the first production lines for feminine and infant hygiene products in Algeria under the brands Bimbies and Awane. This period marked significant expansion and the introduction of new product lines, strengthening the company’s market presence.

Enhancing Operations
Downstream Integration and Compliance
Faderco integrated downstream activities, focusing on compliance and diversification. The company launched Difex, a distribution subsidiary, and deployed SAP to streamline operations. This phase included the geographical expansion to Sétif and the launch of Algeria’s first pure cellulose wadding production plant in 2015.

Upstream Integration and Market Consolidation
Faderco continued its upstream integration by establishing Warak in 2018. The company experienced growth in sales, particularly during the health crisis, consolidating its market share across all activities. This period also saw the launch of new production lines and the introduction of health protection masks.

The latest phase involves significant growth and development, with Faderco maintaining its position as a market leader. In 2022, the company achieved a 30% increase in turnover compared to 2021, with exports representing 20% of the total turnover. Faderco holds a 48% market share in Algeria and has a recognized leadership across all product segments. The company produced 55,000 tons of cellulose wadding, with nearly 50% sold internationally.
